Stop hatin the skinnys by Akunochi Stop hatin the skinnys by Akunochi
EDIT Okay, apparently a lot of people have really missed the point with this stamp. (Or didn't bother to look at my previous one either soo jokes on them.)

This stamp is mainly targeted at people who are skinny and have been MADE FUN OF for it. (Yes, it DOES happen.) I've noticed our society has really kicked it down a notch on making bigger bodies looks grotesque and be more accepting towards it. Can't really say the same for petite bodies. Now it seems like everyones slamming onto thin bodies, throwing on "disgusting" or "repulsive" labels on it, comparing it to anorexia.

This type of bullying happened to one of my good friends and even though I myself am pudgy, I couldn't help but feel disgusted. She even told me once on the verge of tears that she felt like something was wrong with her since people kept constantly pointing out how skinny she was and felt weak and underdeveloped. (Despite of my attempts to assure her otherwise.)

I've even had a few people share their own stories of being bullied due to their thinness and it really broke my heart.

And just for the record I'm going to copy and paste a great comment I got on my previous stamp that really explains why people feel the need to do this:

"It's the cycle of oppression and guilt, and it's happening everywhere.

Women had no rights, they got them, and now men getting beat up is a punchline and the "men are stupid and sex-obsessed pigs" stereotype is considered a fact. It's penis guilt.

Black people were enslaved and oppressed, they got rights and freedoms, and now white people are considered uncool in every way. White guilt.

Gay people were attacked for their sexuality, now they're moderately safe, and you get attacked for not wanting to see a dude with his dick in another dude's ass on deviantART. Hetero guilt.

Fat girls were dumped on, always treated poorly because of their body types. Now there's acceptance of appearance, and now skinny girls take shit(the recent celebrity anorexia wave didn't help). Skinny guilt.

The oppressed gain rights, the oppressors stand back and take pent-up anger for the generations of subjugation, and soon the oppressors become the oppressed, and the cycle begins again.

Until we can learn how to just drop this whole "I'm entitled to get payback for the way I was treated" mentality, which we probably never will because collectively we're a bunch of narcissistic and selfish assholes, then this will just go on...and on...and on...and on...and on...and on..."

Kind of a soul counterpart from my previous stamp:

Just google up 'skinny girl' and tell me how many skeletons you see. (that are obviously edited!) Quite a lot huh? Well this is false advertisement. Just because a girl is skinny doesn't mean she's anorexic, sick, doesn't eat, etc.

Just like bigger bodies, sometimes that's just they they are. Is there anything wrong with that? No.

Or for example, this picture here: [link]

I'll answer their question with another question: When did people start putting other body types down in order to make a different one look better? Since time started. Good job at continuing that trend loser.

Anyone else notice that kind of hypocritical bullshit how you should "Stop bullying big girls!" but then turn around and make fun of a skinny person and that's perfectly acceptable?

I call shenanigans.

skinny bodies have been glorified by media and society for a very long time. do you ever see fat people on the covers of magazines? advertising for something OTHER than weight-loss commercials?

nope.

if anything, it's fat people who are being oppressed. body shaming of ALL types are wrong, however. it's not a person's body type that makes them.

excuse me?
you know who's ugly? people like you. people who feel like their body types determine who they are. what's so beautiful about being skinny? fat people can be pretty, too. you don't have to be skinny to be beautiful, asshole.

seriously, piss off.

no I have a chiseled chin I work out I'm a blond and I am better than you

omg okay im not even sure i can take you seriously anymore

You aren't "better" than anyone because you work out. All fat people aren't fat because of a lack of physical activity. You have no right to have ANY opinions about fatties because you aren't one -- you wouldn't truly know anything about them even if you tried to learn.

I think I love you! I'm pretty small too (I only way 90 pounds, double 0, extra small) and I get picked on, bothered, and pointed out about my weight all the time. I have a fast matabalism, I can't control something like that. And yet people are allways asking "what's your diet plan," "how could you let yourself get so small," I've even had friends parents force me to eat more food, no matter how much I complained and said I was full.

seeing that there are other people out there that know what I'm going threw, and understand makes me feel less alone in this "tiny world" I have to live in.

Thanks for making this. I litterally remember my weight as an infant, which is 4.5 lbs. I was never really able to gain weight at all and I was insulted for my horribly thin body. Seeing this stamp made me feel so human and very happy.
